southern Mississippi, Derek Norsworthy

When asked if the songs and music come
from within or from what he observes
around him, Derek replied, “music is
an expression of life’s experiences
and emotions wrapped up in melody,
lyrics, and instrumentation."

various film licensing deals and global
radio airplay.
No stranger to the stage, he has toured
the southeastern region of the US playing
college towns, renowned venues/festivals
and opening for a number of national
acts. Derek’s lyrical vulnerability,
