Very few entertainers maintain a successful music career spanning four decades, but Bobby Lewis is an exception to that rule as evidenced by his illustrious history and the rise of his current single, “Everything’s Good In Texas” which has landed in the Top 5 of the Indie World Chart!

At the age of eleven, Bobby was already honing his craft and performing on numerous variety shows like the Kentucky Barn Dance and the Hi-Varieties show. While gaining attention for his vocal talent and stage skills, he also became known for playing the lute, not a typical instrument in country music. In fact, that first lute is now on display at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, Tennessee.

Since those early years, Bobby has entertained throughout the United States and around the world, where he is loved by country music fans not only for his showmanship, but his sincerity - never missing an opportunity to talk with fans and always staying until the last autograph is signed - an admirable trait for any artist.

During his career Bobby has released twenty albums encompassing forty chart singles including “How Long Has It Been,” “Love Me And Make It All Better,” “From Heaven Heartache,” “Hello Mary Lou,” “It’s So Nice To Be With You,” “Too Many Memories” and “For Your Love.” Those hits garnered him nine Chart Buster Awards, sixteen ASCAP Awards and a Grammy nomination for Best Male Performance of a Country Record (single and album) in 1969.

That was then, but now after a fifteen year recording hiatus, Bobby Lewis has signed with Heart of Texas Records and released a new album appropriately entitled, Then And Now, which includes newly recorded versions of his hits like “From Heaven To Heartache” and “How Long Has It Been” as well as some exciting new songs like “Everything’s Good In Texas” and “There’s Nothing Better.”

On the heels of his current success, Bobby will join George Hamilton, IV, Amber Digby, Georgette Jones, the Liano Opry Country Band and more on the Heart Of Texas Country Cruisin’ on the Carnival Magic (a 7-night cruise on January 13-20, 2013).

Bobby Lewis is a versatile entertainer, a traditional vocalist and a country music dignitary - then and now!
