New Year's Resolutions

With the beginning of the New Year, I caught up with a few publicists and the artists on their roster to see what their plans are for the New Year and if they have any New Year's Resolutions. Here's what their plans and/or resolutions are for 2013!

Elaine Roy:
My New Year’s Resolution this year is different from years past. I would like to be a more compassionate and understanding person to everyone I meet. We get so wrapped up in what is going on in our lives and sometimes we forget that everyone we meet on our journey has a story and sometimes if we knew those stories we would be shocked. So sharing a smile or just listening more is what I plan on doing.
As far as New Year’s Eve plans not going to do much but that may change. Going out for a good meal and just reflecting on the incredible year we have had and also thankful that my family and friends are still with me and healthy. That is what I will be celebrating.

Lee Roy:
I am going to try and be a better husband, father, son & friend. I think everyone has it in them to be a little better then we already are. I feel there's a lot of room for me to grow in my compassion towards others as well as a Christian.
My New Year’s Eve plans are to hang with my wife & girls. Maybe go grab a nice meal somewhere and reflect on 2012 with dreams of a great 2013.

1) What was last year’s New Year’s resolution? I've never been great at making or keeping New Years resolutions so I didn't make one last year!!Hahaha!!

2) What is this year’s New Year’s resolution? This year I am going to do my best to check off as many "Bucket List" items I can!!

3) What did you do on New Year’s Eve? For the past few years, our entire family will go out for an early dinner and then come back home to watch Dick Clark’s Rocking Eve! It might sound a bit boring, but there’s no better place to be on New Year’s Eve then with my family drinking my mother-in-laws homemade Bailey Irish Cream.

4) Everyone gets back into fitness shape again in January. Any fitness/diet tips? First thing I do on January 2nd, is give away all the left over holiday cookies, candies, pies, etc. Anything that will tempt me HAS GOT TO GO! Then, I make sure I do at least 45 minutes of cardio every morning and cut carbs for a few weeks.

5) Favorite moment over the holidays? Every year I prepare a big Christmas Eve feast at my house with our entire family and I like to make things just right before they come over. Now that my kids are a bit older, they like to sleep in a bit longer on Christmas Day which gives me a well needed extra few hours of sleep!
