I
would like to introduce you to Connor
Rose from Bowling Green, Ohio, who at the
age of 15 is already making a name for
himself as a singer/songwriter. When
asked what got him into music Connor
said, I remember at the age of 4 being in
the audience with my mom and watching my
dad sing, is where it all began.
At the age of 13 Connor started pursuing
his career and at age 15 Connor Rose and
his band "Main Street" began
performing at county fairs, festivals,
ballgames, etc. Connor melted the hearts
of the young and old alike, playing a
variety of country and bluegrass. But to
Connor it's more then just music, it's a
family affair. Connor's dad, Don Rose
plays bass in the band. It's great
having dad there with me, Connor
says. Mom takes care of the merchandise,
and grandparents get involved too.
Connor's dad in addition to playing bass
in the band spends a lot of time on the
phone booking gigs, scheduling practice
time, and managing Conner and his band
Main Street. We are getting
geared up for our busiest year yet. We
want to expand into more states this
year, and this summer will hopefully be a
busy one. Connor and Don Rose recently
recorded Connor's first original single
in Nashville, TN. The song title is
Talkin' and Textin' The song
was recorded at Rag Top
Studio's with Kim Copeland.
Don stated, Some of the challenges
that lie ahead are getting Connor's first
album out and putting a young band
together. We are hopeful by the early
summer of 2012, to release an all
original album.
When I asked Connor what's his long term
goals were Connor said, having at least
one number 1 hit record and to sing on
the Grand Ole Opry
One of this year's performances will be
at Progressive Field in
Cleveland, Ohio. Connor will sing the
National Anthem July 2, 2012
in the opening ceremony of the Cleveland
Indians baseball game. For more

In closing, I would like to say that
Connor Rose is not short on smiles,
energy, or charisma. He's an exciting and
fine young man to be around.
